Hi! I'm Jan, Anna's mom, and words cannot express just how excited I am to be a part of Anna Moore Photography alongside my beautiful daughter. I have always been drawn to photography and the ability to capture life’s moments whether BIG or small. My own mother was an avid picture taker, and our family often teased her about taking so many pictures. As I grew older, I quickly began to understand why she had such a passion for keeping a camera in hand. Life is a story, and the photos we capture will be able to tell those stories over and over for generations to come.

Hi! I'm Jan, Anna's mom, and words cannot express just how excited I am to be a part of Anna Moore Photography alongside my beautiful daughter. I have always been drawn to photography and the ability to capture life’s moments whether BIG or small. Although photography did cross my mind when choosing my career path (along with pediatric ophthalmology until I took my first college science course), I have been an elementary school teacher since 1992 and believe that is what I was put here on Earth to do right alongside raising our family with my husband, Sean. However, even through teaching, I always have my camera close by. Just as I love capturing my own family’s journey through photography, I do the same each year in my classroom. I love sharing these photos with my families as school is such an integral part of a child’s life and thus, their story.
